Mahavishnu Orchestra was one of the keystone bands of the jazz-rock fusion movement. Their 1975 album Visions of the Emerald Beyond is a more accessible album, consisting of shorter jazz-rock tracks. The songs are connected with each other and even got some influences from the funk music of that time.
