Released in 2013, Yours Truly is the debut studio album by Ariana Grande. The album features R&B aspects and was influenced by Whitney Houston, Amy Winehouse, Christina Aguilera and Mariah Carey. The first half of the album is described as a throwback to music of the ’90s while the second half contains unique original music that Ariana helped write.
