Minstrel in the Gallery is the eighth studio album by British rock band Jethro Tull. Originally released on September 5, 1975, the album sees the band going in a different direction from their previous work on War Child, returning to a blend of electric and acoustic songs. The album was a Top 20 in Australia, Austria, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Norway, U.K. and U.S. It’s since been certified gold-selling in Canada and the U.S. and silver in the U.K.
